~ B2 Game Recap - Game 5 - 04/18/06 vs Warlocks - 9/4 Loss

In game five, the half way point of the 2006 spring B2 season, D5 looked to jump start the slowly dying season as they faced the Warlocks ( also now as the Canadiens ). Before the game D5 team management signed Justin Coossette to at least a two game deal and called up Steve Gould from the D5 C-league team.

At the start of the game D5 was faced with playing a man down as they waited for the rest of the D5 team to arrive. Luckily this did not slow D5 as the struck first on a goal by Steve Gould. As more players arrived D5 continued the hot start on a goal by Dan Mokrycki. Unfortunatly the Warlock-Canadiens bounced right back and took control of the game netting the next 6 goals. D5 was able to get another tally before the end of the half by new comer Justin Coossette to cut the lead in half.

D5 started the second half strong with a second goal by Dan Mokrycki. But this was all the offense D5 could muster and the Warlock-Canadiens finished the game off with 3 more goals.

This drops D5 to a 1-4 record.
