~ C Game Recap - Game 4 - 04/08/06 vs Riptide - 11-4 win

In a rare saturday afternoon game D5 faced off against the always tough, Riptide.

The first period was a tough fought back and forth contest. D5 was able to gain a lead on several occasions but the riptide kept coming back to keep the game close. Strong goaltending by both teams goalies also kept the game a close battle.

In the second half, D5 was able to wear down the riptide and eventually take control of the game. The strong closing effort allowed D5 to run away at the end with a lopsided victory. However, in post game press conferences D5 players noted that the score did not reflect the toughness and competive level of the game.

D5 is on a bye next week so catch up with family and loves ones who you have neglected because of your love of D5 hockey...
